Bowling is a sport game in which a player, or bowler, attempts to knock down as many bowling pins as possible using a smooth, heavy ball. The pins are placed at the end of a long, narrow lane. The bowler has to roll the ball all the way to the end of the lane to be able to knock down the pins. As with any other sport, there are official regulations that dictate the proper dimensions for all the elements of the game, including the Dimensions of a Bowling Lane.

It's pretty evident that most people think that getting the bowling strikes is the major goal in bowling.. They are always looking for the strikes and get excited the more they make. And trust me, I am no different than the majority. As long as I have been bowling, I still get a thrill seeing that bowling ball mow those pins down in a clean sweep. It is an empowering feeling!

When varsity bowling coach Randy Bailey bid farewell to his seniors at his team’s annual award celebration, it also happened to be his 65th birthday. On that eventful day, he received a personalized 65th birthday gift that was far more meaningful than any bowling trophy his bowlers or fellow coaches could ever give him. He received a special CD filled with the voices of his colleagues, his graduating bowlers, and their parents, expressing their thanks and warm wishes. The recordings ranged from funny to sentimental, and demonstrated to him what he had meant to his team.
