Recently fourteen sales and staff members from Storm attended a 3-day conference to complete all the requirements for USBC Silver Level Coaching. This advanced level training taught our staff member such skills as:

· Building a bowling arsenal

· Advanced lane adjustment

· Video Analysis

· Matching ball surfaces to lane conditions

  The ball is swung with both hands on one side of the body.  Only the fingers or fingers and thumb of one hand are inserted in the ball and the ball is supported with the other hand.

At the release time, the top hand comes away and the follow through is with the gripping hand.  More hook and power is generated this way.  Is USBC okay with this method for league play and tournaments?

I bought a new ball at the beginning of fall season, 2008, and the pro at the shop where I had it drilled put just the smallest of adjustments into the drilling of that part of the hole, and I am actually able to release the ball with somewhat better accuracy.

Now this didn’t turn me into a great bowler overnight but my average seems to be improving and I am attributing it to the adjustment in the drilling of this hole. Now maybe the other members of my team in league bowling won’t throw me off the team.

Now if I can just figure out something for the other aches and pains, maybe I will be a “not too bad” bowler.
