Choosing a bowling ball depnds on whether you are a casual, once in a while bowler or bowl regularly in a league or tournaments.

The surface material of the ball is probably the most critical aspect to consider in purchasing a bowling ball.  This determines the friction on the lane as  the ball travels down the lane.  More friction gives more hook.

Apparently some bowlers have an unfair advantage with the ball they have chosen. 

There are differences in bowling balls that are not always obvious.

The following are some of the general rules of bowling:

The person on the right is allowed to go first if two bowlers approach the line at the same time.

It is not permissable to jeer or make comments while a person is bowling.
